My show on BizRadio is being cancelled!

After broadcasting for four years (since the inception of BizRadio) and being the longest running host on their air, the show is ending.

This was a business decision by BizRadio and had nothing to do with content. They liked the show and its content, but it did not fit with their business model.

Friday, February 27th will be the last show.

Thanks to everyone who listened. I will continue writing this blog.

Too bad, Mike! I really enjoyed your show. Let me guess, it's the Rick Santelli show coming up next (LOL)! Maybe you could talk a little about "bank nationalization" this week. The market seems to be petrified of this outcome, but to me it seems like the only way out.

Mike, I hate to hear this, I have loved the last 3+ months of listening to your podcast. You really changed the way I look at the economy. I really started off hating everything you said in the beginning. However, as you say look at the facts. And with that my opinions changed. Will definitely continue to read your blog. Thanks for the continued education.

Please just get a tool to broadcast the show via the internet radio, or some internet radio directly as homebrew.

there are plenty of other bizradios on the net.

bizradio is not tolerable without someone who is fielding the hits from left field to right field.

it's all GOP boy scouts now.

i usually listen bizradio almost seamlessly from 8 am with the opening smell with jim bell until frischberg closes the wrap ups.

now, i will not be able to make it through since the others are so totally GOP or anti-everyone.

The only reason Del's show is at 3 pm is because he wakes up at 2 pm.
It's now reduced to an initiation rite for joining lifestyles @ $20,000 or whatever.

I mean I remember the show that Vince Rowe blasted about being a gun toting patriot in the artic tundra as being infinitely more prestigous and concerning than someone spending some time in Europe - is all overly nasal insecurity.

I'll try to listen, but the momentum will not be the same with the MN Show.

Yours is definitely one of the best shows on Biz radio if not the best. I only listen to you and Dan, otherwise I change the station.

Mike,

I have no reason whatsoever to listen to Biz radio anymore!

You are the only one who is reasoned and a thinking person.

Thank you again!! You're all terrific!!!

Only reason I've listened to this network.

You, Warren Mosler and others are providing an invaluable education. I can't thank you guys enough. I spread the word when I can and continue to read and study so I can understand more.

Mike, there has to be other ways for you to continue. Podcast maybe?

Mike, I am very disappointed to hear that your show is being canceled. Your show is the only one I listened to in Houston and learned so much from. Always a straight shooter and one of the smartest on the radio. Good luck and hurry back soon.

I hope Mike will put together a daily podcast - I do not podcast but I listen to many where it sounds like a simple setup on the computer - Many of the business programs @itunes.

Mike you have given me outstanding insight into economics and banking. You are the best economic resource BizRadio has. Thank you very much. You are the main reason I tuned into BizRadio.
Many thanks, and keep up the excellent work.

All of these comments are not just flattering, but they give me much hope. That's because many of you were like me back in 2001. Back then, I too, was operating with all the wrong understanding of these concepts. I was, as we like to say, "in the wrong paradigm." A chance meeting with Warren Mosler made me see the light. You guys found me through my show on BizRado and what we have done there is a microcosm of what is possible. There IS hope for our country, but we fight against time. We all must continue to educate ourselves and spread the word. Get your friends and colleagues to read this blog and Warren's blog (www.moslereconomics.com). We don't need BizRadio.

I am sad to hear that your show will be cancel. I love your show. You are the show that present the other side of general media. That's exactly the voice that's needed because the main stream media to brainwash everyone.

Mike,
It's such a loss. My husband and I have been listening to your show for the past year or so. Your advice was always concise, well-reasoned and informative. Your show was the main reason we ever listened to biz radio.

Mike, I don't always agree with your analysis but your show was always thought provoking. I like Rowe, but his show has turned into a commercial for his academy. I hope you find good work, you enjoy, soon.

You have been a big part of my morning for the last few years. This is a terrible shame. Good luck to you in the future, Mike.

Definitley the best show on bizradio.

Good riddance you hack! I just rewatched the clip from 2006 of you cackling at Peter Schiff on Fox Business when Peter accurately predicted in perfect detail what would happen to the housing market. You call yourself a contrarian?! You're a joke
