Michael Hudson on what is to be done


This is a rather lengthy post on the causes of the present economic debacle and Hudson's prescriptions for addressing it. He covers a lot of ground in relatively few words and deals in some detail with taxing economic rent — land rent, monopoly rent, and financial rent — in order to discourage the excessive rent-seeking that is stifling production.
