Put poor children to work — Newt

In an economy where unemployment is over 8% as officially reported (not counting those too discouraged to look for work), Newt Gingrich thinks that we need to make the children of the poor work in order to teach them good habits.

Really, you can't make this stuff up. Not to mention the thinly veiled racism.

Newt is definitely the Gangegreeg
grinch who steals Xmas

at least he is talking about getting jobs to kids

but of course it's at the expense of undermining unions who are far more diversified than his
"blame it on liberals' laws" entrapping kids

it's a good discussion and we need more Newt, not because he makes sense ultimately but because he is churning the butter
