Robert Reich — The Rebirth of Social Darwinism

“Civilization has a simple choice,” Sumner wrote in the 1880s. It’s either “liberty, inequality, survival of the fittest,” or “not-liberty, equality, survival of the unfittest. The former carries society forward and favors all its best members; the latter carries society downwards and favors all its worst members.”
Sound familiar?

I saw that El Viejo. Sums it up. The top 0.01% has it arranged so that all funds flow up and Wall Street is just one those avenues. Anyone who thinks that they can play with these guys and win is delusional.

Gerald Celente explained recently how he got stiffed on his gold contracts to the tune of six figures by MF Global. He got the social unrest right for 2011, Now he is predicting another bank crisis in the first quarter of '12 based on the widespread shenanigans. He accurately describes the bailouts and now the austerity in terms of the financial sector requiring the little guys they screwed in the first place to make them whole through austerity that increases their taxes and reduces their benefits.
