Daniel Little — Polarization of American politics


No surprises here. The polarization between the political parties is based on conflicting economic interests. What's new is the methodological approach used to show it objectively.

Little wrote, "I think philosophers need to interact seriously and extensively with working social scientists and historians if they are going to be able to make a useful contribution."

Add a measure of economists to that mix.

Ryan, I suspect that Little regards economists as social scientists. Or maybe social and political philosophers, as I do.
