In general, I think people should be allowed to purchase bitcoins. But bitcoins are assets of some kind, and so if they fail to declare them for tax evasion reasons, then that kind of violation should be covered under existing tax laws. And of course if they use them to acquire illegal merchandise, then that is already covered too.

Its like a "hate crime" law... in this case it is a "hate crime" against the USD system....
