Neil Wilson — Scottish Independence Myths: the currency board

More neoliberalism, neo-imperialism, and neocolonialism dressed up as "freedom."

Nice Mosler quote, too.

Yet more NeoConivery dressed up as an independence referendum when what the majority of the Scottish people really want is a NeoConivery Free Zone!

this is good from Neil: "Scotland is currently a partner in the United Kingdom. Alex Salmond wishes to change that relationship to one of a subjugate colony. A very strange idea of independence."

I get it but the thing is how do you get other people to get this?

Neil can understand the mathematics that inevitably leads one to this conclusion, but I would say that 99.99% of others do not...

Others would say to Neil: "what are you talking about? the vote is on independence!" As if words are all that matters... ie "if we say we are independent, then we are independent..."

So you you have this disconnect in most humans between the words (semantics) and the systemic relationships (mathematics) that prevents most from understanding Neil's point...

Neil is trying to explain how the mathematics does not square with the words here...

If one cannot test the words against the resultant systemic relationships then one is not qualified to be working in the subject field...

I think at this point there are probably only about a bit over 1,000 of us globally who can make the connection that Neil makes here (out of 7B humans on earth)... between a nations monetary system and its "independence" so-called...
