Olga Tanas — World War on Russia’s Mind When U.S. Duels Over Ukraine

From his perch as Vladimir Putin’s adviser for building ties with fellow former Soviet republics, Sergei Glazyev perceives the world shifting to a war footing.
There’s a war waged against Russia with economic sanctions and military conflicts roiling Ukraine to Iraq, according to Glazyev, 53, an academician and a native of Ukraine who for the past two years has advised Putin on integration with Belarus and Kazakhstan. Putin struck back this week with a ban on U.S. and European food imports that may benefit the former Soviet allies.
Setting the world ablaze is the U.S., where “hawks” are provoking a global conflict “with the aim of establishing control not only in Europe, but also in Russia, Ukraine,” Glazyev said in an interview in Moscow on Staraya Ploshchad….
“The point of a series of regional wars organized by the Americans, especially today’s catastrophe in Ukraine, centers on the U.S. securing control over all of north Eurasia” to bolster “its position against China,” Glazyev said. “That’s how the U.S. military and oligarchs are trying to maintain leadership in the global competition with China.”
“Task no. 1 is to block those threats to economic security that are now coming from the U.S., neutralize them by reducing the dependence of our external economic activity on the mercy of American politicians, whose aggressiveness threatens the entire world,” he said.

Like I've been saying about MacKinder, the Heartland Theory and the Geographical Pivot of History as Zbigniew Brzezinski has interpreted them in contemporary context.

I've always thought this would happen eventually. The only way the Israelis can get away with Nakba II - the expulsion and mass transfer of a critical mass of Palestinians out of what is left of Palestine - is under cover of the chaos of a global conflagration.

Am I going crazy or do recent developments and emerging possibilities resemble

"But tidings out of the east [China?] and out of the north [Russia?] shall trouble him [US-led West?]: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many." Daniel 11:44

Peter,

Paul wrote in 1 Thess 5:

"Now concerning the times and the eras, brethren, you have no need to be written to,
2 for you yourselves are accurately aware that the day of the Lord is as a thief in the night -- thus is it coming!
3 Now whenever they may be saying "Peace and security," then extermination is standing by them unawares,"

so Paul indicates that things are going to actually get "better" for us (by "us" I mean all of mankind) towards the end of this era... this imo is Tom's "history has a liberal bias" ... ie things (albeit slowly) are "getting better" for mankind...

And the "they" that are saying "peace and security" and that get "exterminated" are not part of mankind ....

Paul goes on to write a few verses ahead:

"9 for God did not appoint us to indignation"

We (mankind) in truth, were not appointed for this indignation that most of mainstream Christendom typically applies in their interpretation of the book of Daniel and all of the "end times" alleged "prophesies" you see being dispensed in Christendom imo...
