Saker — Strelkov: from swimming with Piranhas to swimming with Great White sharks

No knowing how correct Saker is on this description of the complexities of Russian politics, and he himself is somewhat hedged on it.

It's pretty clear from this that the objective of the West is regime change in Russia, and this analysis shows the reasons that the West views this as promising. The Western intelligence services are clearly working with the "Atlantic Sovereignists," which Putin called "the Fifth Column," toward regime change in Russia that would put the oligarchs and Russian mob back in power, after having been sidelined by Putin. Western neoliberal politicians are engaging in economic warfare using sanctions to destabilize Russia in order to effect a coup by the oligarchs and mob that were in power under Yeltsin as a figurehead until Putin outmaneuvered them. It really boils down to Russian nationalism, represented by Putin allied with Russian Orthodoxy, and transnational neoliberal elite gangsters.

Even if you are skeptical, it reads like a Tom Clancy novel on one hand and a Russian novel on the other.
